Today is the day when brands are showing love to their customers, or they should be. Social media is the perfect platform to do this and we’re impressed with some brands who are using Facebook to their advantage this Valentine’s Day.
Facebook Valentine’s Day Campaigns
Telus hit the nail on the head by changing their header image and profile photo, capturing their followers attention and pulling on heartstrings.
Mr. Peanut is offering some very sexy Valentine’s Day video cards for Valentine’s Day. Their “Keep That Heart Pumping” app (available February 1 through February 28) allows followers to choose from three funny videos, each of which can be personalized with the sender’s name and sent to a loved one; one card even posts a message to the recipient’s Facebook wall, and one places the recipient’s photo in the card.
Puff’s Tissues created an app on Facebook which allows followers to create a virtual kiss card for a friend and post it to their wall. In addition to this, Puff’s is donating $1 for ever virtual card to Dress for Success.
These are just three examples of many excellent campaigns which are running today. Each of them capture the attention of the consumer and who the personality of the brand.
